The Bonomi brand includes Sfoligatine sugared and glazed, Savoiardi, Savoiardi Duo and Amaretti. Amaretti (macaroons) biscuits are made from ground almonds, egg whites and sugar. They have a distinctive flavour, which comes from the addition of bitter almonds.
The Bonomi family tradition dates back to the middle of the 19th century, in the village of Velo, where the first bakery was opened to produce bread for the people of Verona. Over the years and with the changing generations, the passion for cakes and biscuits increased to such a degree that it was time to expand and develop the business on a much larger scale.
